Almost as anticipated as the 2009 likely arrival of THE Ricky Rubio to some fortuitous and swooning NBA franchise comes the debut of The Maculate. Encouraged by the world's greatest basketball blog in the world Truehoop, I have decided to share my opinions and insights with the rest of the blogosphere.
A little about myself: I am a 24 year old DJ, drummer, writer, hermit, hoops-ologist, pigskin-aholic, cinophile, publicist, reporter, landlord, not necessarily in any priority or merit based order. I work and live in the fine city of Shanghai, China, but hail from the world's greatest city and the most livable city in the world: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
As you can see from the many different roles I have assigned to myself, I plan to make this a cornucopia of different topics and scatter-brained ideas. However, I would like to focus my blog in 4 main areas: A foreigner's take on living in China, the transformation of DJing into the digital frontier, basketball (skewed slightly into a Chinese global context) and football (skewed heavily towards the Pittsburgh Steelers).
They say write about what you know. That's what I know about. That's what I'll write about it. Take it or leave it.
